Sally Mabelle, 'Inspirational Speaker of the Year' 2011 NSANZ,
empowers you to find and express your authentic 'voice of leadership'. Sally believes that whether you’re already a speaker or the CEO of a company, a manager leading a team within an organisation, or a sole entrepreneur striking out for the first time, you can find the experience of public speaking to be exciting, uplifting, and deeply satisfying.Sally uses techniques from acting and singing, and has applied insights derived from the disciplines of psychology, communication and pedagogy.
She started her career in the US where she graduated with honours with a B. A. in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Virginia. She then gained an M.Ed. (Masters degree in Education),Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, and a Spiritual Psychology certification from the University of Santa Monica.
She spent 4 years as a professional actress and 10 years as a voice coach in the US, during which time she learned essential skills in voice projection, emotional connection and physical presence, all of them essential techniques in her courses and coaching.
Moving to new Zealand in 2004, she worked as a teacher while gaining residency and citizenship before starting her coaching business in ‘the voice of leadership’ here.
She now works with a wide range of clients ranging from private individuals needing focussed coaching in certain areas to large groups and corporations. Based in Auckland, she has also worked extensively in the US and the Pacific.
Sally tailor-designs programs to suit the particular needs of individuals and organisations. She employs specific tools and techniques as well as facilitates her clients in finding their own 'voice of leadership'.
